BIOGRAPHY Tom Thaddaeus who has worked with some of the World's greatest reggae groups such as Bob Marley's "Wailers Band," is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, singer and one of Switzerland's most outstanding performers and composers. Thaddaeus has emerged as the creator of a new World Beat music melange that he has appropriately named "Swagga Reggae." "Swaggae Reggae," a mix of African Syncopation, Afro-Beat and Reggae-Rock, demonstrates Thaddaeus'roots, unadulterated style of music and very topical lyrics, that recalls the everlasting poverty in Africa and its dreadful ghettos. DISCOGRAPHY 1986 "Mama deh" CD. A breathtaking 10 song, up-tempo reggae showcase for Thaddaeus' talent, features besides The Wailers Band, top reggae musicians and producers; Dean Frazer (Alto and Tenor Saxophone), Bobby Ellis (Trumpet), Bongo Herman (Percussion) Biley Barry (Trombone), with back up harmony by Peter Tosh singer; Cynthia Schloss, Pamela Hall and Judy Emmaneul. Bob Marley's Wailers served as backup band on Thaddaeus' "Mama deh" CD, which was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica in 1986 and remixed in 1999. Tom Thaddaeus has registered more than 100 compositions with the SUISA ( Swiss/International copyright Organization.) NEW CD (Bridge me up), 10 song, was recorded with Thaddaeus' London-Based band, including works by well known reggae producer, Iauwata Amha Selassie MD and Jazzbo.
